Waitlisted...please HELP!

So I've just found out today that I've been waitlisted at Brandeis University. Should I reply to the waitlist right now, even if I'm not sure if I am going to enroll there even if they give me a spot? How disadvantageous is it to wait until the rest of my college decisions come out (early April) and then put myself on the waitlist?

I also need some financial aid, and I heard that students who are admitted from the waitlist aren't given substantial financial aid. Is this true?

Can anybody please help me with this? Thank you!

I can’t help with the financial aid question, but there’s no reason to hesitate in accepting a spot on the waitlist. It’s not a commitment, and if you decide to go elsewhere, you just let Brandeis know that you want to be removed from the waitlist. Good luck!

Stay on the waitlist. if you get admitted, it’s one more school on your list to decide on. There is no downside.

In the end, if you are accepted, it is not binding and you determine fit and finances against all your schools!!

Unless you are 100% sure you would not attend, remain on the wait list.
