Waitlisted - Statement of Intent of Participation (SIP)

<p>Do you have to do anything for the SIP besides click you want to be on the waitlist? I know some school have you turn in a mid year report or write an essay, but it didn't seem to be the case when I was doing it on the UCI website. It's nonbinding right?! It's not my first choice, but it's nice to have options if I do get in. I'm confused about this thing I found online:

Do you have to submit all of #2 to get on the waitlist, or is that for when you get in. </p>

<p>You have it correct - all you had to do was to click that you were interested. It is non binding and you would not have to provide the info in #2 unless you hear that you are accepted.</p>
