<p>I found out today that I was wait listed (Although I expected a rejection letter) and wanted to know about the next couple of steps :(
soooo...I am not entirely sure if I want to attend Irvine BUT if I were to sign the "SIP", would that mean that I HAVE to attend Irvine?
What if I change my mind and want to go to Santa Barbara...what will happen then?

<p>I saw in another thread that it’s not a binded contract. I think they just want a rough estimate of how many people would actually want to attend. I’m on the same boat too 
But according to two years ago, all the wait listers were admitted. This year, I’m not so sure :(</p>
<p>Yeah, that one OCnew article or something like that about the 2009 waitlist and how all 333 got in made me excited. Too bad 2011 isn’t 2009…</p>
