I just got waitlisted for my dream school. Unfortunately, I don't find out until the end of June if I've been accepted. This is truly frustrating, because I applied back in November for early admission and they just can't seem to make up their mind and give me a final answer. Should I still have hope, or just give up? Anyone know the chances of getting into a school you've been waitlisted for, and how being waitlisted works? Is it a first come first serve type process, where the sooner you reply the higher you're on the list, or what?

I applied to Emerson if that helps any. I know they have a difficult acceptance rate, I've heard both good and bad about their waitlists.
