Washington and Lee is my top choice as of right now and I have been waitlisted (also by bunch of others like Emory, Colgate etc..)

I live in VA, international (from one of East Asian countries not chinese tho), and have visited Washington and Lee before for an interview.

I wrote my appeal letter today and signed to stay on the waitlist.

I am dying to get in and I do not know what else I can do to get me off it.
If I do not get off the waitlist, I will probably have to go to Grinnell College.

Can anyone give me advice?

You have done everything you need to do. They put people on the WL who are often interested and qualified. In Regular Decision, they are trying to find their version of the perfect class. That includes a lot of people who don’t really have it on the top of their list (but those taken in Early Decision do) but might be interesting from a ‘diversity’ POV and they give a lot of aid to try to attract. They don’t get that many to say yes so they always go to the WL. 50 last year, or 10%. I don’t know where you fit academically or from the “diversity” side. The latter is more than skin color. Includes region, economic, first generation college and other things. Any of those hooks could help.

Grinnell, is a great school BTW.
