Waitlisted?

Seriously torture. I have been stressing out this entire week waiting for a decision. Any decision. Nope...more waiting and hoping....

Awww sorry. :( But at least it's not a rejection!

If you're interested!

Hang in there! Write them a letter letting them know that you're still really interested in attending Wellesley! Good luck!

Oh poo. I was waitlisted RD. Does anyone know anything about how many ppl are waitlisted and what you can do to improve your chances. Thanks everyone for the help. :)

Hi guys. Dropping in after a loooonng CC break (Can you blame me for wanting to forget about the college admissions process for awhile?!). Anyway, with regards to admissions, I know that last year, 720 students were waitlisted, 380 accepted a spot on the waitlist, and no one got in :(. That doesn't at all mean that no one will get in this year, but I'm just sayin'. The year before that, 10 accepted off the waitlist, and before that, 45 were accepted. So...yeah. The best advice I have for you as someone who was waitlisted last year to two schools that took very few people of their waitlist (and didn't take me) is to stay on and maybe write a letter if you're really still excited about Wellesley, but to expect to go somewhere else.

I read the the letter that adding additional information (e.g. awards, grades) were good. They never mentioned anything about a letter. Would writing a letter be inappropriate since they don't ask for one?
