Humorous…sorry about that.
Do those accepted receive notification before those denied or waitlisted? Just curious on the timing.
Just received. Notifications will be mailed later this week!!!

I saw it on Wakes admissions blog…

Good Luck!
Are they gonna post decisions on the portal?
No. They are mailed out.
Hopefully everyone has now seen the letter that Martha Allman sent to all applicants yesterday. This was an unusual step for the Admissions Office, but was necessary because of the speculation around whether admit decisions would be delayed due to the Bribery/Fraud scandal. It appears that all decisions will be released later this week.
All domestic applicants will receive a decision by USPS (snail mail), and International applicants will receive an email and an overnight package. Keep an eye on the Wake Forest Admissions Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts if you want to know exactly when they are put in the mail.
Acceptances are usually in a big black and gold envelope (8 x 11) and wait-list/denials are in a standard white business envelope. If you have Informed Delivery thru the USPS, please be aware that sometimes, the big envelopes do not show up, so it can be misleading.
Please be patient. Once the envelopes are delivered to the USPS, the delivery is up to them. You will be able to call the Admissions Office and get a verbal decision over the phone if you suspect yours is lost, but they won’t begin that process until approximately 7 days after the decisions go in the mail. And, only the applicant can call, not a parent.
Good luck to everyone! I know the next few days are going to be stressful, but it’s almost over!
Go Deacs!

@WakeDad Thanks for the update
Thanks so much for the information, @WakeDad! I was wondering if others who are waitlisted received the email as well.
I didn’t get the ED1 random email a month ago inviting me to the campus so I believe that is a sign I won’t be accepted, at least I can get some clarity next week.
@WakeDad Yes, my son mentioned the email, but thanks for posting this here for all to see. The waiting will soon be over, best of luck to all. I am confident that my son will end up where he was meant to be… have faith everyone!

Will it hurt my chances if 2 people have already been accepted ED from my small high school?
I received a letter in the mail and a few weeks later an email
Good luck to all of you. SO exciting!
Go Deacs!
Will Wake tweet or post something when they mail letters ?
See post #80 (above from @WakeDad ):
“Keep an eye on the Wake Forest Admissions Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts if you want to know exactly when they are put in the mail”.
Based on the letter from Martha Blevins Allman, Dean of Admissions, they will be mailed at the end of this week (see post # 76, above)
Wake Forest should delay admissions until a thorough investigation is completed.
