@jtransfer22 I think they only ask when they are truly interested in us. Hopefully, we can get in.
@kcasssuu I mean since the email says they already reviewed our applications, I think they are just making sure our grades stay consistent. If we got rejected, they would not care about our final grades? Are you a freshman too?
@jtransfer22 Yes I am. I think what they mean is our current grades are not enough for them to be sure we will do well in Wake Forest, but they are interested in admitting us if our grade remains consistent this semester.
And I agree with you, they wouldn’t care if they want to reject or waitlist us.
@jtransfer22 @kcasssuu when did you both submit your apps if you don’t mind me asking?
@Uncapplicant23 March 14
From what I understand, decisions are postponed if they see potential in your application, but need your final grades to make a decision for acceptance or rejection.
I received an email from an admission officer today with a PDF decision letter. However, I just completed my applications around two weeks ago. I didn’t open that letter yet. Can somebody tell me what the heck is going on? This is the first time ever I received some kind of admission decision directly through email instead of the application portal.
@ECWCitizen It is hard to say without knowing what the PDF says.
@jtransfer22 Did anybody receive the decision information through a PDF? Cause it’s so weird.
@ECWCitizen I will not receive my decision until after I send in my final grades. It is strange that you received your decision via email because, in the past, Wake had sent their decisions via mail.
Maybe try to open it, we will see what happened.
@kcasssuu I‘ll probably cry out loud. I‘ll wait somebody to post their result first.
@ECWCitizen wait a few days on mail. I think if you get accepted, you will get a big package in a few days.
Does anyone know if the order in which your app. is reviewed is based on the date that the actual application was submitted or the date that the last piece of documentation was received? I submitted my application on March 2nd but my midterm grades were uploaded March 28th.
Does anyone else keep getting promotional emails from the admissions office?
@Uncapplicant23 I received an email from Wake today about their summer immersion program.
I’ve received both an email about the summer immersion program and an email with the title “Your Best Work.”
I received the one titled “Your Best Work” today and then another about wellness last week!
Has anyone not gotten the “your best work email”
@hggisonco I haven’t received that email, but my admissions decision is pending until Wake sees my final grades.
