I need to make a decision between Michigan and Wake Forest. Michigan’s size concerns me and Wake Forest seems very inviting.
Does anyone have an informed opinion of how to compare and contrast the two schools.
It’s really up to you
Do you want a large public university where you can find everything but the class sizes can be overwhelming?
Or a smaller private school that would be much more homogeneous yet supportive?
Also the major has to be factored in. For business and obviously engineering go to Michigan. For liberal arts, go to wake.

From what I hear, class size is kept manageable because of the number of different schools within Michigan. Is the Liberal Arts school at Michigan that sub par relative to business and engineering?
I like Wake Forest and think it’s a good LA school but it lacks the national reputation of Michigan. And, being from the northeast, I am not sure whether they attract companies for internships and/or jobs beyond the south.
Do you have personal experience or know someone who does with either or both universities?
