<p>$8,000 is practically nothing in terms of student loans. You could pay that off in 3 years by only paying $250 a month, and you’d only need a salary of $30,000 to do it. With a doctor’s salary (assuming you don’t chance your mind) you could nuke this in a year.</p>
<p>Honestly, this is going to be more a choice of where you really want to end up and not the cost. Please do keep in mind that if you DO choose to go to medical school, the ‘name’ of your university doesn’t really matter in medical school admissions. It’s grades, test scores, experience (research and clinical) and letters of recommendation.</p>
