Well, the schools are plenty different. 'Twould seem THE issue here is how fixed you are on the pharm program. Of course you can go into pharm outta WFU, but it'll be a bit more hassle.

Conversely, if you like magnolias in May ...

well the pharmacy program at st johns was a "safety" for me and wake forest was my number one choice

if i decide not to become a pharmacist st. johns isn't that good of a school but i'm not sure how great wake forest is.

i haven't been hearing that many good things about wake forest.
i'm an asian-american minority and i keep hearing that the university is a preppy white school.
how is the campus, university, surround town, academics, etc.?

Don't mean to sound rude, but why would WFU be your first choice if you don't believe it's a good school and haven't really done any research about it?

sorry. i should have been a little more specific.
i'm aware of the academic quality of the school and i know that it is a great school.
but i am a bit unsure of the student life at wake forest being that i live too far to visit the school.
i would just like to know more about the environment at wake forest.

uh oh - you've angered a "P" good luck.

see the princeton review post.

Sorry to disappoint you, BadNews, but I'm not rising to the bait. Twenxx explained the original post and now I understand his/her concerns.
