I applied to Walnut Hill as a Music Major for 11th grade (I'm a sophomore now). I have played viola for 10 years and it is my life- orchestra, chamber music, lessons, competitions, summer programs, etc. My GPA is 3.97 and I have quite a few extra curriculars other than music stuff, like student council and mentoring middle school students. I submitted a recorded audition (I live across the country from Walnut Hill).

Walnut Hill confirmed that they had everything they needed for my application by February 1st and said that they would send out the letters on March 9th by US Mail. Does anyone know if they send out an e-mail as well as a letter or if we get any other notification? Otherwise it will be next week before I get a letter (assuming I actually get accepted...). Could we even call WH on March 9th and ask? :P

I am extremely nervous as I REALLY want to get in and I feel like my application was a good representation of who I am and what I've done but I don't know if it's good enough! If I do get in, I would need tons of financial aid. Does anyone have experience with that?

Thank you for any help! :)
