sat: 2130
sat II's: taking in november! expecting high 600's (literature/math 1)
ec's: math club (president)/ french club (president)/ varsity math team/ speech & debate/ catholic league
paid work: carter's
volunteering: teacher assistant all 4 years/ convent nail salon helper/ babysitting
classes: a decent amount of honors/ no Ap courses - did not meet the 95 avg. required to get in..
common app essay: strong and personal story
awards: national french exam award/ math honor society/ language honor society/ national honor society
more awards: Outstanding Participant award- National Achievement Scholarship Competition (the psat thing)/ Venture's Scholar
nice personality/tall/pretty (not trying to be vain but i heard its a plus in interviews..)
Please keep in mind I'v applied early to adelphi, fordham, bing, princeton and ED to columbia.
Please keep in mind me and this other black girl in my grade are literally the only smart black kids in our entire grade (all girls school, and she also got outstanding achievement)
hm idk what else to add, but please give me a rough estimate of what my chances are, thank you!
ALSO: My school does not do rankings so i have no idea what percentile i fall under, and if it helps i have been absent 4 times for all 4 yrs of school and i have strong connections to columbia</p>

<p>Columbia has a large AA population so I’m not sure how much your URM status will help there as opposed to, say, Princeton. I would say you have shot at Columbia, slightly less of one at Princeton, and a very good one at the rest. Chance back please?</p>

<p>Well you applied ED to Columbia so I’d say you have a chance. Also you mentioned legacy in the other thread. Legacy only applies if your parent went to either Columbia College or Columbia Engineering (undergraduate).</p>
