Wanna find out if UCI received your application?

I realized UCI had a section on their website where you can register as an 'application' by putting down your UC ID number SSN etc.

https://login.uci.edu/ucinetid/webauth?return_url=https://portal.uci.edu/uPortal/Login

click on activate ID on the left hand side. then, there should be a link for applicant students. So I'm guessing if you're able to register, they got it.

Edit: I also found it for SB
https://www.admissions.ucsb.edu/AccountManagement/Identify.aspx

LOL this is ridiculous.

I would not recommend anyone doing ^that. Last year, UCI and UCSB gave me my UCInetID and Perm number. I wouldn’t do anything to mess with their system. To everyone panicking over this ridiculous “issue” just wait for your emails jeez.

^this person is seriously irritated that we care so much about our futures…

I’m sure he cares just as much about his future as you all do.

Perhaps he’s not so tactful in his responses, but all of his posts seem to ultimately provide reassurance that you will eventually receive confirmation e-mails from the UCs you applied to.

I can understand the overzealousness, but it’s a waiting game at this point so relax for now, take it easy. You worked hard this semester/quarter (maybe? probably?), your applications are in, take a breather before classes start up again.

You read the old threads, it seems all e-mails were received before the end of January. If you need additional reassurance:

*Right after you submit your application, you’ll receive an e-mail confirming it has been successfully filed. Four to five weeks after applying, you should receive another acknowledgment from the UC Undergraduate Application Processing Service confirming receipt of your application. If you don’t receive a notice, please contact the processing service at ucinfo@ucapplication.net or call (800) 523-2048 (in California) or (925) 808-2181 (outside California). *

I’m guessing “acknowledgment from the UC Undergraduate Application Processing Service” is different from acknowledgment from the particular UC you applied to? It wouldn’t hurt to send an e-mail if you’re really stressing out.

we don’t need reassurances from people who are in the same situations that we are in.

further more if no one likes it just stay away from the thread. simple and easy.

just don’t participate at all. we have has a system here for the past few months and all of a sudden all these new members are coming on here creating tension and disrupting the flow of things. Ryan has been here and actively participating, he can make this thread and open speculation for this sort of thing as much as he wants.

since this thread is so irrelevant, there should be NO BUMPING, NO QUESTIONS, or anything because applications are submitted so everyone should just wait so this UC Transfer section should be locked - NOT.

ayymeer was just offering a recommendation. I don’t see why that’s such a big deal.

In fact, I see it as good advice. Why tamper with the system? Do you want to be seen as someone who can follow directions (i.e. wait for the right time, as instructed) or not?

UCSB one does not work – yet?

Doesn’t have the selection for Fall 2012 register

@UCkittychen Lol, I don’t care about my future? Oh really?! I guess that’s why I withdrew my SIR from UCSB and canceled my dorm application so I wouldn’t have to take out an $18,000 loan that I’d have to pay, by myself, after graduating. I sooo don’t care about my future like you guys, I really don’t.

And, you’re right again, I don’t like these threads. That’s why I’m posting in them; a lot have been popping up lately. There is no need to worry about emails that you’ll get sooner or later, there is no need for 9 SEPARATE THREADS for this topic, it’s unnecessary and filling up the UC Transfer forum. I mean you read one thread and you see people getting their emails at different times. OBVIOUSLY, if you haven’t received your email yet, it doesn’t mean something went wrong with your app, it just means the UCs haven’t got to you yet.

Btw, who were you referring to as a newcomer creating tensions here? Compare our join dates girl, I was here before you. Don’t even make the argument that you have more posts than me because you got those by worrying about unnecessary things like this.

LOL of course I would be arguing with another Delta College student! And, btw kitty, SJDC is a feeder school to Davis. Your accomplishment in getting in to Davis isn’t that big as you’re making it out to be.

Fellas, that is a bit much. If they don’t send you a confirmation within the estimated time, just call them.

My SDSU confirmation was like 2 weeks late, if that makes anyone feel better.

ignore list added.

hey salmos, haven’t seen you in awhile.

@lawlking I recently got my email from UCI telling me to activate my UCInetID, verify important info…blah blah blah, but I couldn’t login to ‘MyAdmissionsApplication@UCI’ to do all that, so I think UCSB doesn’t work yet because they’re simply not ready.

@UCkittychen

You’re really the one to talk, coming in here and calling someone a ■■■■■ in your second post, bashing anyone with a 4.0 in this forum, hell you even had the nerve to insult and argue with Ms. Sun about crediting her website. Whatever, judging by your profile, you’re a loser who couldn’t get out of Delta in 2 years.

Ignore list, lol. I hope we don’t have any classes together next semester.

ayymeer is right. Other than asking IF, it would be way more practical to report the WHEN you got an email response.

It’s a waiting game and it seems from the weeks I applied that it is a pretty random process.

so nobody else post until march. applications are in, no more speculation, no more worry, nothing.

none of this is phasing me, so the whole little army might as well stop wasting their time uniting and attempting to destroy me.

prior to this thread the same person who i was referring to was running around threads pertaining to the same topic angrily point out the fact that they believe whomever shouldn’t make threads like this.

who cares, fall back, stay away from the threads if it makes you so mad. If you aren’t chancing anyone or contributing anything relevant then you have no reason to post.

I had created a thread (which has been made each year prior by random users, because like ayymeer[or whatever SN is], I got “tired” of seeing so much clutter pertaining to the same topic) for people to put there chances in, a thread that many have used, however alot of people seem to create their own chance me threads, you don’t see me trying to play moderator criticizing them crucially for making their posts.

bottom line is: if xxxx wants to make threads pertaining to UC then it’s fair game, no one needs anyone telling them if it is or isn’t okay.

p.s. better than you attitude? you must really know nothing about my history and the thankfulness I have repeatedly expressed about this site helping me rise to my potential.

& silence about the 4.0 ordeal already, who needs to be chanced to UCSD for philosophy with a 4.0 and stellar EC’s. those are just people looking for attention for themselves, do you not know CC’s reputation? Urbandictionary? here let me help you:

<a href=“Urban Dictionary: College Confidential”>Urban Dictionary: College Confidential;

=\ I wanna find out if UCI recieved my application…

^don’t try to ruffle the feathers of the UCI system TaLL, you might make admissions or WORSE CC members…angry. YIKES!

Hey guys, be sure to check your Spam folder in your email because that is where I found my UCR email.

I wanna find out if UCSB received my application.

@lawlking
That’s the funniest thing I’ve read on this board in awhile. LOL
