<p>I would like to ask about interviews. I want an interview but I haven't gotten one yet. I was wondering if I should tick the box "I have not taken an interview yet", or should I do something else?</p>

<p>Schedule an interview. It’ll help you so much!! If there’s a box for “will be taking an interview” check that.</p>
<p>You can schedule an interview yourself if you have submitted your application. Just google “carnegie mellon undergraduate interviews” and go to the interview website on the cmu website. You can figure it out from there, but basically there is an alumni directory and you can contact anyone. </p>
<p>Do you know for sure if the interview is informative or at all evaluative?</p>
<p>I had an interview there in the fall. I do not think it was overly informative. However, that was most likely because I know basically everything about admissions and such at CMU. I think it helps in admissions though. I conveyed my love of the school through knowing alot and I think that helped me get in.</p>
