want to attend UF

Here's my issue. I attended a 4 yr in another state and eventually got dismissed because of some personal issue and one being my dad died from a very brutal cancer. The university said I was permanently dismissed and can submit a bunch of documentation to appeal the dismissal. I don't have many credits I'm still a freshman in credits. Is there any way to attend UF? Appeal the dismissal like my college said and get my transcript wiped clean? And start at UF as a freshman?
If anybody has any advice much appreciated. I emailed an advisor but haven't hurt back yet!

Anyone?

I’m really considering not reporting the school, but I’m not sure…I don’t really want some of the classes and grades to transfer.

Also some courses at Santa Fe would replace the grades on the transcript and the four year.
But I guess the best option is do go ahead and submit the documentation and clear my transcript? And get back in good academic standing?
I’m just wondering the to tell the university that I do not plan on coming back?

If we don’t know, we don’t know. :(

You need to clear your transcripts(your academic status), before you can transfer to UF, that I’m pretty sure about. Also, as a transfer student, you may have to transfer in as a Junior (have 60 credits) as UF usually only accepts transfer students with AA’s or 60 credits.

Check with UF admissions:

Good Luck!

Thanks! I most likely am going to apply as a freshman applicant because I don’t really have that many credits. I have like 10 or 12.

You are not eligible if you have been dismissed from another school - you can petition to withdraw from the first school before applying to UF or transfer that credit to a Florida public state/community college and earn an AA degree - make sure the prerequisites are met and then apply as a transfer student.
