Well there you have it-my life in one thread post. Once again, what are my chances at Duke Early Admission? Also, what other schools do you think I should look at this summer?

Thanks for your time!

You are looking real good. I'd rank you a match for Duke.

The GPA/rank is excellent, the SAT I is just barely below Duke's average and the SAT IIs are above Duke's averages. You have good ECs that point to academic potential and leadership--you've done all this while working and volunteering--and you are applying ED--meaning you really want to go there (instead of a New England school) out of Rhode Island--which is unusual. If you can write good essays, I'd estimate you have about a 60% chance of acceptance.

Best of success.

Thanks for your help! Anyone else have any advice for me?

retake those sat's to guarantee in.

do you think I have any "hook"?

bump bump bump

You look good for Duke, they had a bad year this year taking lots from the WL which will help. I would try to raise the scores to nail it.

Did you not take very many honors/AP classes? Otherwise your GPA would be much higher. My GPA is a 3.41 and weighted is 4.22 with a 2180 SAT. I wouldn't try for Duke, but it looks like you have some other stuff goin for you.

I took every honors/AP class offered to students at my school. That being said, the only GPA on my transcript is called "Cumulative GPA" which reads 4.20.

Here's my schedule over the past 3 years (credit received in parenthesis). Every ** represents a course in which my school offered no honors/AP level, so I had to take that one.
