I'm a high school senior in Virginia and I'm interested in JMU's communications disorders program for undergrad with a minor in Spanish. My SAT scores for math were 580 and for reading a 740. I've taken a lot of AP classes and got the AP scholar with distinction award as I got a 3 or higher on all AP classes I've taken (I've taken 5 so far and am in 4 this year). Additionally I went to the Governor's Foreign Language Academy for Spanish, and have participated in Model United Nations and the Spanish Honor Society. I'm not really sure about my GPA, I think last time I saw it was a 3.8 but it could have changed. My biggest concern is with math, which isn't my strong point, as most colleges recommend taking higher level courses but I'm currently taking Advanced Math, and my grades in math tended to float around a high C or low B most of the time. What do you guys think?
