Want to take the AMC 12B

<p>My school is not registered for the AMC 12B (we took the AMC 12A though), but a nearby high school is. I can't seem to find anything on the AMC website saying whether or not a student can go to a different high school to take the contest. Do you have to request permission to do this?</p>

<p>Yes, you can definitely take it at another school as long as the proctors there are okay with it (I'm doing this too).</p>

<p>Um, you can as long as they're okay with it, and I think there's a fee you have to pay if you want to be recognized as being from your real school. So like if you make it to the AIME, you'd probably have to take it at the other school.</p>
