I want to transfer into the university of Delaware's nutrition program. I am at a community college( I know, not very impressive) I was home schooled so I am getting my GED next month and should receive scores in the 650-750 ranges. I was late getting the GED. I hate tests, so I put it off for 3 year, but I have been taking classes at the community college the entire time. I am afraid that it might hurt my chances. I am 21 at the moment. I have a GPA of 3.44 biracial female. So, am I dreaming? Please reply.

Do you need to take the SAT for those schools? Perhaps since you have a GED you may not need to. At any rate, with a 3.44 at a CC you probably have a shot at Delaware, esp since you are URM. I don't think it's too hard to get in there.

I am assuming that URM refers to being a minority. I don't want to play that card if I don't have to. I rarely ever check that box. I always put down white. Since percentage wise I am more white than anything else. I don't want to be accepted to meet a quota. From what I have found most schools accept transfer students with more then x number of hours based on their college GPA's only. I hope I read that info right. If I am wrong please inform me. Thanks for your input. Does anyone else have an opinion? Suggestion?
Thanks
