have any of you ever read it or read part of it? i have to read this for my ap lit class and it weighs as much as all the books ive ever read in my life and future books i ever will read combined.

I haven't personally read it, but my goal is to eventually do so. I've heard it's extremely boring. I even know someone who's into Russian literature of that type (Anna Karenina, Crime and Punishment, etc.) who hated War and Peace.

Good luck.

I like it though it does get dry at times. Give it a chance and you might really enjoy it.

I love this book.
Just fancy yourself as a Russian Hussar, riding your horse charge deep into enemy formation, striking the fear out of those poor fusilier!!!!
muhahahahaha
I love the battle scene in the novel, they are just great!

well i am on pg 100. 1300 more to go!
