Warren Honors Program

I got an email today saying that I've been accepted into Warren's Honors Program but they were pretty vague in what exactly that entails. From the email, it seems like you just get to go to specific events. Are there any other perks to being in this honors program? Priority enrollment, smaller classes, etc?

If anyone is in the program right now, can you comment on it? Do you think it's a big enough deal where I should now go to UCSD even if I was planning on going to UCLA before I knew I was in the Honors program?

No priority registration…I think there are networking and special seminar perks. One of the reasons I may not go to UCSD is because I did not qualify for the Honors Program…if that helps anything lol xD (then again, I don’t know about the program exactly)

The Honors program does very little for you, so stop being dumb and saying you won’t come to UCSD just because you didn’t get accepted into the Honors Program.

You are allowed to register for a Freshmen Honors Seminar and go to some events to meet professors and stuff, but really it isn’t that helpful. There’s no priority registration or smaller classes just because you are in the program.

If I had the choice between UCLA vs. UCSD Honors program, I’d go with UCLA, and this is coming from someone IN the UCSD Sixth College Honors program.

Lol I said that because I don’t have it as a perk to go to UCSD -_- I have scholarships at two other schools which I assume will give me more benefits, but I also wanted to weigh SD.

I’m in the honors program and I almost never go to their events. It’s mostly useless to me.
