None of my high school activities were related to to my major, so I ended up not listing a lot of my community service and sport activities, and in college I did not have that many hours listed. Just wondering if they wanted to see that I actually volunteered instead of doing nothing because I thought I had a decent chance of getting in.

if it wasn’t major relavent i don’t think it would have made much of a difference. i think i remember seeing somewhere to only list thing that you did post graduation but i’m not sure. besides, i’ve seen some people post their stats here with a lot of volunteer work that wasn’t major related and they got rejected from schools still.

I just put few of my high school ECs such as sports, clubs, etc.

I put in only an activity I dedicated lots of time to and was (still am passionate about). It doesn’t have anything to do with my major.
I think if you haven’t graduated from high school ages ago, putting in one or two activities that mean a lot to you can’t hurt. I graduated in spring 2009 and started college in winter quarter 2010, so I’ve only actually been in college for ~half a year (not long) by the time I started the UC app.
