I received an e-mail that told me my application was waived. I didn't have to write an essay or pay $45. I submitted the application online for the Nov. 1 deadline, and now it says I need to send a transcript of my grades along with a teacher's recommendation. Isn't it too late to do that since it's Nov. 5 already? Will I still receive an admission decision?

They always need a transcript and recommendation. And SAT scores. Waiving the essay and fee is a special shortcut they offered you (and others.) The deadline is for the initial application from you. You made the deadline. Just do as they ask and do it quickly.

Fordham never waives the essay requirement. Plus our fee is $50, which can be waived for some candidates

I think you’re confusing us with another school

You can call to confirm the receipt of application

This question is for the college rep, if you are listening. DS received a “priority application” which said that it was free, or that if you used the Common App you should just mark “other” under the fee section. When he filed the CA, he marked “other” but was then told he had to fill out some additional form, which he has not yet done. Is the additional form required, or will they identify DS as one of the people they sent the Priority Application to?
