Was suspended twice in sophomore year. Does this affect my admission to Northeastern, UMN, UW?

I was suspended OSS for making out in the bathrooms. And then just recently, they (senior) wanted to drop a gift off for me in the parent pick up loop and the teachers saw us and got us in trouble. They were let free. I got 10 days of ISS.

I didn’t do any drugs, never got into fights, never cheated or stole anything. I hold a 4.0 GPA and have always held it that way since freshman year. I’ve also been involved in a good amount of ECs and hold a good and likeable reputation amongst my teachers (not the administration though).

My parents are worried about my college admissions. How bad are they affected?

And also, I talked to the counselors and they said that typically, suspensions aren’t reported on transcripts unless they’re severe or criminal-related.But I have a feeling that they may still end up there nonetheless. I’m freaking out right now.

Thanks.

Your counselors are trying to say that really serious stuff would get reported, but most likely what you have one won’t…but make sure not to do any thing else that would get you suspended.

College’s would want to know about violence or cheating or drugs…but making out or being outside would not be an issue in college. But multiple suspensions would show a pattern.

Next time think about what is best for you…if someone wants you to leave during school, say no. You can meet them after school. Also see your boy/girlfriend after school.

@bopper Thanks for the advice
