ooof. I’m going to sleep now. Easy to tell I am unbelievably bored. WOO second semester senior year living up to its reputation.

I would say you have a good shot – I was just accepted EDII with a 3.7 and a 1540, so similar stats there. If you wrote good essays, and have good recs you should be in a good spot. Good luck!!

My son’s stats are similar, as well, but I’ve heard RD is much tougher to get into, since you’re not committing yourself to WashU. That’s how they keep their elite % acceptance rates so low.

1540 SAT (800 Math)
4.00 UW, 4.35 Weighted
5/328 Rank
NHS, National Science Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta
4 year athlete (soccer and track)
Lots of service hours (not much leadership there, though)
Will have 7 AP classes when all is done (4 last year, 3 this year)
Maryland Resident
Engineering/Computer Science

He also had a really good alumni interview, which might help a little, but certainly can’t hurt.

similar stats here
35 ACT*
1560 SAT (800 Math)*
*both clean scores, no PEPCs - performance enhancing prep courses, just hard work ,studying, and couple online practice tests, no sign stealing either
4.0 /4.4
NMS
12 APs
15 hours part time work week
several off campus leadership roles - started middle school robotic team as neighborhoo youth center
Can this record make the much tighter RD cut?!

Ugh I hope I get in
