Wash U, Georgetown, Boston College

Hi I'm a junior in high school, I really want to go to a top school like Georgetown or Wash U or BC, but I'm not sure if I can get in. I'm looking at about a 30 for my ACT, hoping maybe the retake will get about a 31 or so. I have a weighted GPA of 4.24 unweighted 3.7, which ranks me 20 in my class of 600. I have done 4-5 Honors/AP every year. I got a 5 on my WOrld History AP exam but haven't taken any others yet. I did two years of honors advanced Spanish, honors Spanish 2 and honors Spanish 3--does this kill my chances? I am involved in NHS, investment club, scholastic bowl, tennis. I also started and am captain of my schools Debate team. I will also hopefully be VP of NHS next year. I am also very involved in my Church, I serve as an usher and Eucharist Minister, I am also in the Youth group. I led a Kairos retreat and have good leadership and writing skills. I should have good recs and essays too. Do I have any chance of getting into these schools or similar schools?

I think you’re a match for Boston College. Wash U and Gtown may be looking for above a 30 on ACT and slightly higher GPA. Even though they’re reaches, its still possible. Best of luck.
