<p>My D has been selected as an ED candidate. Now she will be applying for merit scholarships. I have heard people saying that Wash U will also look into family's financial status in order to grant merit scholarships too. Is that true? Do they look into merit only for merit scholarships or will they take into account family's finances too.
If anyone has any experience with merit scholarships at Wash U, it would be greatly helpful.
Are there anyone who can share a first hand experience with merit scholarships - any tips would be helpful - essays, rec letters, etc;
