<p>What are the parties at Wash U like? Are there a lot of parties on the weekends? Is alcohol provided? How wild do they get? Is it easy to get into parties?</p>

<p>fyi, i'm obviously interested in wash u for academics, but I also want to know what night life is like.</p>
<p>Honestly, partying here is what you make of it. Many kids here didn’t do much partying in hs or came from sheltered backgrounds so at the beginning of the school year many freshman are awkward about it. I personally came from a big city and partied a lot in hs and I was taken aback by it. That being said, it got a lot better. People hook up all the time and parties are easy to get into. There is always alcohol provided and there is generally a party to go to Thursday - Sunday. Again, the biggest problem you might face is awkward kids who weren’t the life of the party in high school but try to come out of their shells in college.</p>
