im from cali and was admitted to all three of these schools. i want to major in math and economics and want to find a job as an actuary after college hopefully.

ranked by how much i like the campuses i would say 1) emory 2) wash u 3) northwestern <-- highly dislike northwestern's facilities

but i feel like future wise it might be 1) northwestern 2) wash u 3) emory

if i went to emory i would be able to go to gouzuieta business school after sophomore year which is ranked #7 undergrad. the business school at wash u is #13

Future wise, I would say Emory wins for business… Goizueta is fantastic… truly a gem. If you like the Emory campus the most, come to Emory…You will get a great education at all of these but fit is also important!

If your degree is in economics, Northwestern would bring some advantage among top consulting firms (not sure about other private sector employers). I do not know how the opportunities would compare to those afforded by business degree from Emory or Wash U. In short, in depends partly upon what you choose to major in. All I was saying was that if your major is economics and/or math, Northwestern is a step above Wash U and Emory.
