General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Congratulations to the rest of you guys and good luck to you that are still waiting!

does a full french white guy who's lived in france, florida, and japan count as multi-cultural? apparently not, or i just got straight up rejected lol

Are you in Japan right now? I haven't talked to any international students that have received invites for the multicultural weekend. I think my application is pretty strong and I haven't received anything either, and you'd think that living overseas would automatically flag me as "culturally diverse." It might be the airfare cost? Good luck and stay optimistic! I'm trying to!

How did you find out your status? Was it online or by mail? I thought the decision is mailed on April 1st.

AMD, these applicants who knew about their status early are mostly scholarship finalists, special program strong candidates, internship invitees, multicultural weekend invitees, various department visitation program invitees, etc. Many of them were invited to go to visit Washington U to various events with all expense paid. In general they are some of the top applicants to the university. The majority of the decision will not be released until later this month or around April 1st. So just be patient and good luck with your application.

Thanks Christian.

So think the rest of us will find out online today? Anyone know how they go about notifying us when decisions are online?

I hope to read many acceptances by tomorrow. good luck everybody! Letters went out today (a little bird told me).

So that means decisions will be up later today?

WAIT... how do you know that they went out today?!!! will they for sure be here tomorrow?!

oh geez... i want to know asap, but my mail will probably take till next week to get here. checking online just seems so much less exciting than receiving a big letter, and a lot more of a slap-in-the-face than seeing the small letter before reading it.

wellll, i'll probably check anyway, if it's up.

What?
can anyone confirm this?

ugh... anyone? The wait is killing me.

i just checked online and there was nothing there

i think that trapper was right though (or so i hope because i cannot wait any longer!)

i wonder what time it will be when they post them online

i wish i was at home so i could stalk the washu site... :-(

I have no inside information, but I think if decisions are posted online today, they'd by available at 5:00 pm (St Louis time) because that's when normal business hours are over, so the WashU people wouldn't have to deal with prospective students calling and harassing them.

i called the admissions office and they said decisions will be mailed on or before April 1st...

that is all
