this was when they were released exactly one year ago. If the pattern follows they should be released within the hour.
hello my counselor literally told me admissions told him monday. they don’t always go based on previous years.
Do they send an email notification first or update the portal first?

counselors are unreliable, the admissions has already made every decision, it’s up to to them to release when they want.

Yo applicant from last year here. I remember being in this position and wanting to do everything in the world possible to find my decision early. It depends completely on the release date, but if it’s today or tomorrow and you think you got in (or had a good chance lol it’s a crapshoot) then look into last year’s thread.
If you make a UPS account with your name and address etc., then it will tell you what packages are being sent to your address in your name. If you got in, there was a big envelope coming from WashU’s zip code, if you didn’t there was nothing. This works because WashU is one of the only schools that sends out their letters before they release them, as opposed to other schools which send them out the day of. UPS also does not require a tracking number. Of course, I have no way of saying if this would work or not these year, but if you are as bored/stressed as I was, give it a shot.

Hi. Posting for the first time.
I am also applying for admission to WashU’s class of 2021. As far as I’ve heard from my counselor, the decisions will come out on Monday March 13. But who knows, it could come out tmrw. If it doesn’t, then it doesn’t. We will all know our decisions eventually sooner or later. I think we should all just relax and go watch a movie or tv show or something. I just watched Logan yesterday and it was reaaallly good.
Also an applicant for class of 2021 and completely agree with your advice, Logan is a great movie.

class of 2017 has been full of changes across the board so its not surprising lol.

It could be Monday however some think it will be tomorrow because of previous years and the fact that WashU goes on spring break starting the 12th
Yes, WashU has spring break from 12th to 18th March. That settles it. Obviously the admissions office won’t be open DURING spring break on a Monday.
If they have a spring break during those days, it seems logical to aim to finish their work and release decisions before the break starts. And the admissions office will be closed on Saturday. So it’s probably going to be tomorrow.
