Didn’t the scholarship decisions come out later than usual this year though?
@FirstToRise It’s completely speculation. In the past, decisions have come out around the second week of March, on either a Friday or a Monday. With that said, it’s likely that WashU received more apps this year than they ever have before, which seems to be pretty standard fare (Harvard and Georgetown have both noted an increase in applications). There’s a chance it will be today, and there’s also a chance it’ll be Friday, or any other day. We can only speculate. Keep in mind that everyone has already hyped up March 7 and March 10 as release dates and both were wrong.
Ah okay. That’s why I don’t want to get my hopes up. I’d prefer it be a surprise because these last few speculated dates have been wrong.
@nathancard They did receive a record number of applicants this year, but they also received a record number last year, and the year before. But our year is the first one where the date decisions are released doesn’t follow the pattern 
@bssurly I was looking through the WashU RD threads from previous years and two years ago, a couple people said that they traditionally released on the second Friday or the second Monday of March. Today is the second Monday of March, just a little later than usual. If they don’t release today, then it will be a break from tradition, but ultimately any speculation we do is pretty pointless. Decisions will get here when they get here.
Also, I am pretty sure someone called (twice?), and was told it was the 13th.
They better release the decisions today
@nathancard Actually, last year they released decisions on a Thursday. This is how it has been in past few years:
WUSTL Class of 2016: Friday, 9th March,
WUSTL Class of 2017: Friday, 8th March,
WUSTL Class of 2018: Monday, 10th March,
WUSTL Class of 2019: Monday, 9th March,
WUSTL Class of 2020: Thursday, 10th March
And today is 13th March. And even now we are all just speculating that they are coming out today. No credible source to confirm it. They have already broken from tradition as it has never been this late in the past 5 years. But I really hope they release decisions today!

@SkipWoosnam Whoever called the admissions office was told that they will be out “by April 1st”. That’s what they always say, and even said that to the people who called today.
If they do decide to release them today, anyone know what time?
My sister told me she got her decision at around 7-8pm last year
ED decisions were released at 6:45pm EST. So hopefully, RD will be released at the same time. Around 4 hours to go.
I just called admissions and the lady said that they’ve only been told that decisions will be released before April 1st

For what it’s worht, I am a scholarship finalist, and got a package from WUSTL today saying CONFIRMATION IS ENCLOSED. I’m assuming it’s got my scholars weekend details and official acceptance letter… Idk what that means for RD, and I don’t claim to know anything about the release date, that’s just what I have for everyone:)
@mocktrialrules I got a package with identical labeling last week, it is details for scholarship weekend.
I really hope it’s today. I just want to be able to make my decision and be done with all of this.
