Washington University in St. Louis Class of 2021 RD Discussion Thread

Any UPS/USPS notifications this morning?

I did not know I could approach my counselor to call and find out when the results come out. You guys have some friendly counselors. I am sure my counselor would have frowned at everyone coming to her to call to find out when decisions would come out for each school they applied. On the brighter note it will all end by April 1st for most schools. Cant wait to get this all behind and pick a school where I will spend my next 4 years :-).

I liked this quote some where I read on CC.

But in the end: Attitude not Aptitude will determine your Altitude.

So WashU or some other school, Its finally we who carve our paths.

Good Luck to You all.

@DakAttack nailed it bruh Amen

Can someone call and ask if its today

anyone get a package on myusps

@Harryp17 I’ve got nothing. hopefully they still come out today though

I’d say friday

I honestly don’t know what to believe anymore so I’ll just pass on hoping for today (or any day really) so not to be let down… again.

Called a minute ago. I was told “no specific date, all we know is before Apr. 1st.” I shared my anxiety and asked if it could be today, and got the answer “I don’t know.” Anyway, I hope it’s today my friends and we all have good result.

Finally!! Just got an email from WashU

what did it say? @ktbktb

Decisions are out today

For those who havent recieved it yet:

Greetings from WashU!

Today is an exciting day! Our admission and financial aid teams have completed our evaluation and awarding process and are preparing to release admission decisions later this afternoon. The decision process was particularly challenging this year, as we received a record number of applications and more than 30,460 students vied for a place in our Class of 2021. I am especially pleased to have experienced my first admission cycle at WashU and can’t wait until May 1!

As we did with Early Decisions, we will release decisions late in the day, to avoid interfering with the school day and we hope you will keep this information confidential until that time. We will post admission decisions on our WashU Pathway. Students who applied for financial aid will also be able to access their financial aid awards online through their MyFAAccess Page. Our Student Financial Services team will be standing by ready to assist students with any questions or concerns about their financial aid awards. Please note that the merit scholarship process is complete, as all finalists were notified earlier this month and are now preparing to join us for Scholarship Weekend, March 30 - April 2.

I also want to take a moment to update you on a change in our process that you may see reflected in the decisions for students in your school. Based on feedback from school counselors around the country, this year we have reduced the number of students offered a place on the wait list by about 50 percent. Our hope is that reducing this number will support your efforts to help students finalize their college plans.

I am providing a link to our admitted student profile. I hope it will be useful as you counsel your students about our decisions. However, please don’t hesitate to contact me or our Admissions Officer who serves your school with any questions or concerns. You can find contact information on our web site.

I never got that

This is for counselors I think

Why on earth didn’t I get an email :-/

Maybe this is a pro troller…

@ktbktb would you also post the link to the admitted student profile? Thanks!

Confirming what many of you already know - it’s today. Wishing all of you the best. I hope you all remember what special people you are and admission to a specific university will not make or break you. You are all amazing and this decision won’t change that/

@ktbktb can you please provide the link?

how many hours until the decision then?
