Does it mean anything that Wash U asked for a current/fall grade report a few weeks ago? Do they ask all ED applicants to send this info?

They asked for it right before Thanksgiving and gave a November 30th deadline. Our school has a policy of not sending in mid term grades. I just checked the portal and it says everything is complete so I’d ignore it.

Trying to figure out when they will announce.

Here are the dates the last few years:
Thursday December 13, 2018
Thursday December 12, 2019
Monday December 14, 2020 (COVID Year)
Thursday December 9, 2021

It looks like the pattern is they announce on Thursdays (with 2020 being the outlier).

I’m guessing they will announce on Thursday December 8th or Thursday the 15th.

I checked on College Kick Start which is usually pretty up to date and they have not changed the notification date from 12/16. Just wondering where you saw this confirmed. Thanks!

My son just got an email saying ED I decisions coming out afternoon of 12/13!!!

Same.

What time do you think late afternoon is?

It will be late afternoon based on Central Time (since that is where St Louis is located) but no idea…

I would think it’s probably around 5pm their time.

That is what time the ED decisions came out last year - 5 CT

I would think they wouldn’t release decisions until the admissions office is closed

does them announcing the decision date signify that they have finished reviewing all applications and are done making decisions, or does it mean that they expect to need around 5 more days to finalize everything?

One more day to ED decision!! Feeling the anticipation and preparing for however this turns out…. If my son gets a deferral can he switch right to ED 2?
