I know Berkeley is ranked better than WashU for business, but I also heard it's very difficult to complete course requirements for business at Berkeley since I was accepted to the college of arts and sciences at Berkeley and would have to switch out. Which school should I choose?

Pretty much a matter of personal preference. No large difference in quality of education, so it’s pretty much all the other things you are looking for in a school that will help you to decide.

it’s not that hard to get the Haas pre-req classes. i would say the harder part is getting good grades in the pre-reqs because the curves are very strict (stat classes are typically 20% As)

how’s the social/business networking scene at Washu?

washu is ranked higher than berkeley in business week rankings (#4).

^ Yeah, but to be fair, they’re somewhat meaningless. They also have Olin over Wharton, which is not in any way justified. The businessweek rankings weight student evaluations too much, in my opinion, and that is a large part of the reason that washu is ranked as highly as it is. Sure, it’s important, but not THAT important.

Don’t know exactly how good networking is, but I’m sure it’s relatively good.
