WashU Scholars vs. PSU BA/MD vs. PLME

im debating these three schools in my head (i live in PA btw) what would u guys/gals choose?

i wouldnt mind the 6 years and at Penn State wouldnt be too bad ( known for social life ) yet WashU is a really good school with a really good med school and brown's open curriculum seems really nice also sigh im confused lol

Are you actually in to any of these places yet? Because if not, why not apply to all three and make the decision when you find out the decisions?

im just asking for positives and negatives for future reference because outside of this site theres not much info on these things

Umm, I would probably go with PLME.

PLME is great in that it allows you to truly explore anything you desire during your undergraduate years. If I remember correctly, most of the "premed" classes are taken pass/fail, and no MCAT score is required. Also, Brown's med school typically sends its students to top notch residencies. Brown is also an outstanding institution to spend your undergraduate years in.

PLME is like ten levels above the other two programs lol

you won't have much of a social life in the 6 year psu program, regardless of what the reputation of the school is. those kids work super hard to cram all of those requirements into such little time. personally, i don't think it is worth it--you're only young once

i'd do plme so you can get a real college education (and an outstanding one at that), before going to med school

Yeah, the WashU program is not really a program, it seems to be more of a distinction of "University Scholar."

lol there is no question that PLME is the best :)
then PSU
then WashUSL because like ppenguim pointed out its more of a distinction cause you have to apply for the program sophmore year in college i think...

Ah, but if you do PSU-Jeff, you get to see Joe-Pa.
Where else ya gonna get Joe-Pa?

thats true joepa rocks
