WashU vs. Johns Hopkins for Pre-Law

So it’s really coming down to the wire and I honestly cannot decide.

I am very interested in the natural sciences (though I’m not planning on going premed), and know that both schools are excellent in that department. It seems as though quality of life is better at WashU, though from previous threads, it seems that Hopkins has the edge for getting students into top law schools.

Money will end up being about the same for both schools.

Does anyone have any thoughts, perhaps pertaining to law school placement?

It might not be fair, but have you watched the news? Baltimore is not looking like an attractive destination right now…Both great schools, so no bad choice here.

If we’re going off of racial tensions and rioting, then St. Louis, MO isn’t looking like a great option either. JHU (and I would assume Wash U) have campuses that are very much in a bubble from the surrounding community. I wouldn’t worry hugely about the rioting as you make your decision. Neither city has a huge leg up over the other, IMO.
