Wasn't invited to the Open house?

<p>I never got an invite the open house event on April the 13th, and on my portal it says the invites are sent throughout March 12-16. I was invited to the polycultural weekend but I can’t go to that one because I have class on the day it starts. I plan to go the open house anyways but I don’t really know how anything is going to play out because I didn’t get an invite. What do you guys think?</p>

<p>The Open House is the admitted students’ weekend for Cal Poly. If you were admitted for the Fall then your email must have been sent to the spam box or you overlooked it. You are invited regardless of if you got the email or not. Call the school and confirm your attendance and ask for the email to be resent. Here is all the info you will need:</p>

<p>I have not received an invite either. I received a message from the Dean of engineering on the 14th telling me to look for the invite but it has not arrived. I sent an email to the open-house email that osakadad was so nice to post. We will see what happens with that.</p>

<p>I called the phone number and spoke to a very nice lady who gave me the e-mail address of the person who helps run the orientation events. Here is the response he sent:</p>

<p>The invitations went out via email to the email on your son’s Admissions account. If you didn’t receive it, contact <a href=“mailto:admissions@calpoly.edu”>admissions@calpoly.edu</a> and they can resend it. There is an RSVP tied to that email. Also, a postcard will be mailed to your home address within the next 2 weeks. Hope that helps and we’ll see you in just a month!</p>

<p>I’ve just sent an e-mail to that admissions address so let’s see if it generates an email with the RSVP.</p>

<p>yeah, I just received the e-mail for the open house invite today, too. This morning at 11:45</p>

<p>Here is the email response I received:</p>

<p>The Open house invitation are a bit delayed in distribution. Half are being sent this afternoon (Monday) and the rest are being sent out over the next two days. All applicants should receive the Open House invitation email by Wednesday, March 21, 2012. We apologize for the delay.</p>

<p>If you haven’t gotten the e-mail with the electronic RSVP you should be getting it soon according to the email.</p>
