<p>Thank you everyone! We are trying to stay abreast of the weather using all methods: tv, apps, computer. I tried to find James Spann on the tv but couldn’t, so we are watching TWC. Thanks for the county list, Sea_Tide, that is helpful. We are tossing around the idea of going back to campus to the Ferg or going downtown just to be able to park the car in a garage, but I think we’d feel safer at the hotel. They have been proactive and slipped a weather letter under the door telling us what the procedures will be in case of tornado. Honestly, I’m regretting that I didn’t take my hubs’ car which already has hail damage. My car is only 6 months old…but that is what insurance is for, right?</p>

<p>Question: will dining services be open if campus is closed? Daughter was wondering if Lakeside would be open for dinner.</p>

<p>I was thinking the same thing Mike. I just checked Bama dining and this is what they have posted: Due to the threat of severe weather, today’s hours of operation have changed. Please check the calendar for each location’s revised schedule</p>

<p>lattelady - you could always park in the Ferguson deck ($3) and get a taxi back to your hotel, front desk should be able to help you with that.</p>

<p>That is a good idea, and we tossed it around, but at this point are staying put at the hotel and hoping we will be first under the porte cochere at the hotel when a hail storm approaches!</p>
