I come from one of the top 20 schools in america with a somewhat bad gpa, 3.75, how can I make it up so that when I apply ot colleges it wont look too bad?

Sorry, but I’m afraid nothing you can do will make up for such an awful GPA. Even with perfect SAT scores, no college is going to accept you with those kinds of grades.

Sorry man, you’re screwed.

3.75, ***? were you like smoking weed all 4 years? how did you end up with a 3 point friggin’ 75? Come on, if you just show up every day you can get higher than that. I’m not sure even devry would want you
okay but seriously it’s a tad bit low, not bad for most publics and some of the more selective privates but for the tippy top schools it can be a dip in your application. Besides doing better in the classes you have right now, there’s not really much you can do

keep in mind all honors/ib classes

I know this is HSL, and I ( a parent! don’t belong here), but they are just messing with you.

Shrinkrap, I meant to tell you DS2 was accepted after waitlist at Duke! He is excited to be a Blue Devil and I thank you for your support, the advice to have his piano teacher write a letter really paid off!

the ib/honors makes it better, i think colleges will certainly take that into account although they would have prefered higher. you don’t really need to worry about your GPA too much, just focus on doing your best in the classes you have now and it’ll go up. It probably isn’t much of a disadvantage in your app

^Sweeeet!.
