We have to submit tax returns????

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I was accepted to UM; I just checked the myUM site and it says that the financial aid department needs my 2008 tax returns and my parents' forms as well. NOWHERE on the financial aid site did it say that these documents are required; do I just send them in to the financial aid office now? Has anyone sent theirs in yet? Has anyone received a financial aid decision yet (not including scholarships)? </p>

<p>All my other colleges who asked for tax returns said so specifically, but UM's financial aid page just says send in the FAFSA.</p>

<p>how can u send 2008 tax returns? u dont get them until april 15.....? i have to send my forms in for verification also. and we dont get them until april 15 so no idea how ur planning on sending them this soon</p>

<p>April 15 is the last day that people can file their taxes; my parents did their returns in January, so we already have them.</p>
