Financial Aid Incomplete?

UMich just asked me to send in my parents 2008 tax returns, and they want them signed. My parents had a slight increase in income from 2007 to 2008 and they had to correct it in the FAFSA (filled in 07 info and changed it to 08 info after they filed their taxes). Is that why they want to verify the information? Is this unusual?

Haha I'm clueless about this kind of stuff, just thought the email was a little weird. There is a big time crunch, they want the information by the 25th of May and I JUST received the email. Ughhhh.

Im pretty sure they want you to mail in a signed form of your tax returns. If you go on (wolverine access-my fa status-documents/review-documents) it will show you what they want you to send (by mail or by person) to the finaid office.

The same thing happened to me. I am sending mine in tomorrow. You should be fine.

Ah okay good to know it’s not just me lol.

Are you going to fax it in or mail it?

My email said to get it in by May 31st, so I plan on mailing it. With your’s the 25th, I would probably fax it if I were you.
