"Copies of transcripts, test score results and catalogs from any post-high school institutions (to assist in planning your coursework for the Fall)"

If this is the case, I never went in to pick up my final transcript.. I knew that my school would send it to UCLA, so why bother? What sucks is that UCLA has not received my final transcript yet and my orientation session is coming up soon =/

Would I just be able to bring in an older transcript from the fall semester and just explain my grades?

They don’t need official transcripts for orientation, they just want to know what classes you took and what grades you earned. The orientation people are not going to try to get transcripts from the transcripts office for every single person who will be attending orientation, so it’s just easier if you bring them so you can show them to whatever counselor you speak with. Notice the part that says, “to assist in planning your coursework for the Fall.” They just need them to help you figure out which classes you need to take, not to put them in your file. If you bring unofficial transcripts you should be good. If you bring unofficial transcripts that you printed off the internet, you should be good. If you show up with a hand written list of the classes you took with grades… you’ll probably be fine.
