I heard that weather in San Diego is really good, but I am wondering the specifics. How "cold" is it in the winter, and how hot is it in the summer? The reason for asking is that I cant stand the cold at all and I like it when its scorching hot.

The average summer high is in the high 70s and the average winter low is in the 50s. Fantastic weather by any account.

It doesn’t usually get scorching hot, except sometimes in the summer and in Sept. it can get up to the 90s. This is pretty rare. It does get fairly cold in the winter (aka Nov.-April)- nights can be in the 40s. I wear a lot of layers in the winter.

Then again, I’m from out of state so overall it’s a warm climate to me.

I feel like there are a lot more important things to worry about heading into college than how the weather is in a state where the weather is essentially equally as good throughout the major populated parts. The weather in San Diego is as close to perfect as it gets. That’s all you need to know.
