Why shouldn’t I? I don’t really want anyone to see my score because it will be bad…Especially since I studied so hard for the SAT over the summer then didn’t prepare the month before hand

Would you care to estimate my scores? I’m basically toast if it adds up to be less than 200…

@megan702
Your score would most likely be less than 200 if you got wrong what you think you got wrong. And also, just don’t show your score to anybody. Open it at home and see how you did. Are you a sophomore or junior?

Did anyone feel that the practice test in the CB booklet was way easier than the actual? Because I hardly missed any in the practice, but then I totally failed the one on Wednesday.

(Or maybe because I derp too hard. 180 degrees in a circle, indeed.)

I’m glad the thread is finally back up.

And I can’t tell you how many times someone has told me that he/she might still get a perfect score on ___ because omitted answers “don’t take off any points.” Why don’t you leave the whole test blank, then?

im pretty sure it’s consumed, if you read tips for the sats and whatnot they always tell you it’s almost never the synonym of the word. consumed fit I just remember not really struggling on that one and my friend agreed

Almost never ? It is almost always a synonym of the word. You are choosing a choice with equal meaning to the underlined word that won’t affect the meaning of the sentence. Basically, you are picking a synonym. The answer choices will usually contain one or two words that fit but aren’t synonyms and words that are synonyms but don’t fit. Consumed falls in the former category.

It’s CONSUMED! I’m pretty confident about it. How much do you guys want to bet? Lol

I just really hope I qualify for National Merit. Personally, I thought English and Reading were easy. I’m expecting -3 from Reading at most and a -1 from English. The math ruined me though, which is kind of embarrassing considering all of you are raving about how easy it was. So many of the problems just messed me up and I felt entirely rushed when I shouldn’t have been… Fingers crossed for qualifying.

The fog watered the valley.

Consumed makes sense, but not in that case. Consumed is replacing water, so you are implying that “consumed” can be considered a synonym of water. Show me what thesaurus you got that one from.

Does anyone remember the diagram for the parallel line question? I remember 30 degrees, 20 degrees, but I can’t replicate the diagram. >.> I guessed 120 on that one, I couldn’t come up with the answer without wasting too much time.

Yes, the question isn’t asking what can replace watered. It’s asking what watered means in that context.

Anyone remember what the “6” question was about… totally forgot.

Also anyone get a lot of E’s on the Improving Sentences (6,7,8)

The consensus has been that there were two consecutive E’s in the improving sentence section. I believe there was also the terra cotta soldiers question, which makes three total in all. Although the terra cotta one might be one of the two consecutive E’s, so I may be mistaken.

What were the two consecutive E’s, I do not think so. There was the Terra Cotta and one other, that was it.

Oops, thought u guys were talking about identifying errors part, my bad, ignore my comment^^^^.

“showing the reason why Machu Piccu was an important place (the special architecture)”

" passage 2 speaks of people who don’t believe in the theory of passage 1 (something along those lines)"

“useless (I don’t remember if that was the exact answer, but it was asking about how the second passage’s author felt about that process that might negate environmental benefits, I think another answer choice was Harmful, which I guess could also be a possible answer)”

What were the questions for these ones?

The “6” question was a bar graph. It showed scores on a quiz and how many students got each possible score out of ten. The question was how many students got a grade of 7 or higher. Pretty straightforward, as long as you know how to read a bar graph.

Wait so there were 3 e no errors? Also, for the passage 1 passage 2 for the brain/control question. Was passage 2 was speaking out to those that were undermined in passage 1? (something like that)

for the elite, latitude critical reading fill-in-the-blank vocab question, what letter choice was that? I know for that question, I put c as my answer. Everyone is saying elite, latitude is the answer, but I don’t know what letter choice that is.
