Wednesday December 12th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG OMG>>> It's 3:48 and I got the letter!

Greetings from Hanover!

This is just a brief note to inform you that an electronic version of your
decision letter will be posted online to the Dartmouth Student Information
System after 3:30 pm Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, December 12. The
online decision letter will be available until December 19.

YAY!!!!!!!

Good Luck Everyone!

I just got my email, as well!

Ahhhhhhh! So nerve-wrecking!!!!!

I don't know how I'm going to get through school Wednesday.

Good luck, everyone! =)

I just got my email too. I'm so anxious. Just 48 hours until my rejection from Dartmouth!

Good luck guys.

Deeeeeeeeep breaths, deeeeeeeeeep breaths . . . .

One thing to think about: The decision is made. You just don't know what it is yet.

(Is that a good thing or a bad thing??)

I just realized this.... the '12s find out on 12/12..... coincidence? I think NOT! Why else would they have made us wait this long????

Good Catch! What better date is there to notify the class of 2012?

It does say that the decision will be posted after 3:30. Do you think that means at 3:30 or just some random time on 12/12 after 3:30?

haha that's right, veryhappy. right now, our names are either in the thumbs-up or thumbs-down pile. haha who's getting any sleep the next two nights?

I sure wont be! Don't worry tho, we can chat on CC into the wee hours of the morning. I'll be here, will you?

I actually think it's usually posted a bit before 3:30. At least, that's what's usually happened in the past. Don't take my word for it, of course, because I certainly don't work in the Admissions Office, but I do believe that's what's done. Either way, I don't think it'll be too much after that time...or I hope, anyway!

Holy crap, I'm so scared. :P

I'll write a macro to refresh constantly.

I just spoke with my brother. He said they released the decisions at 3:00 his year (3 yrs ago), but he couldn't get on the website for 20 minutes, because it was soo busy!

Last year it was up 15 minutes before they said it would be. (I know 'cause i was refreshing every 15 minutes.)

I Am So Nervous

I have an idea guys... I took this from another CC forum. What we can do is to each share with each other our favorite websites that we can use to help pass the time! Plus, we might discover some new cool places to waste time in the future.... This can include games, videos, blogs, or other cool sites worth mentioning. Please give the website address, and a short description.

Okay, i'll start:

www.xkcd.com

This site calls itself "A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language" Basically, there are a few hundred comic strips that I have found to be really entertaining. Some of the jokes are very hit or miss, so read a few before deciding that it's not funny.
3 of my fave's:
http://xkcd.com/331/
http://xkcd.com/336/
http://xkcd.com/313/

reddit.com: what's new online - Best news source, though a tad on the atheist side.

Explosm.net - Comics - Great comics for the slightly quirky.

washingtonpost.com and perehilton.com, love it!

uh oh.

good luck guys...

Haha, Ed. Um, yeah. I'll second xkcd. I got a '10 hooked on reading this website last night:

Cracked.com - America's Only Humor & Video Site, Since 1958

Good luck to all Dartmouth ED applicants from a Columbia ED applicant!!!
