I want to transfer from UMich Flint to UMich Ann Arbor (main campus) my junior year. Does my ACT matter even if its substantially low? (21) will this hurt my admission chances? I have a 3.8 at UMich Flint and the admissions rep said the college im trying to attends average GPA for transfer students is 3.5.

Thank You. It means allot.

No it won’t affect your application to any major degree, if at all.

You’ve clearly done well in college and will continue to do so. SAT/ACT is supposed to be a marker for how one will fair in a college environment and be able to handle college course work. You’ve proven that you can via your actual college GPA so your ACT won’t be a problem.
