Weird ACT vs. SAT scores, take a look and tell me what you think.

I need to decide what to do with my test scores. When compared, they are a little interesting:

SAT: 1880 (After 3 tries, although best scores all from one day)
Math- 720
Reading-590
Writing-570

ACT:30 (First try)
Math-30
Reading-34!
English-29
Science-26
Writing- Not Yet Available

I did sign up to take the SAT one more time, but before I saw my ACT scores.

(Another note, I want to major in Political Science)

Some questions....
1. Send both scores or just ACT?
2. Retake ACT? (Applying ED so deadline cutting it close)

Love to hear your opinions, thanks in advance.

I’m pretty sure that colleges will allow you to send only one, so if that’s so, just send the ACT unless you’re retaking the SAT and get a higher score.

Since you did so much better, send only the ACT. And, go ahead and take the ACT again since you’ve signed up for it. If you improve, it can only help your admissions. If it decreases, they will still use the higher score.

Isn’t a 39 like a 1980? Thanks about 100 points better! Congratulations!
