Weird class rank

Does anyone go to a school where there are numerous valedictorians? My school can get around 15 to 20 a year out of a class of 750-800, since they only weigh three honors classes and there are no minuses or pluses, just regular A's, B's, C's, etc. Just kind of weird because I know of one guy that graduated last year who got a B in intro art class during summer school before freshman year that basically dropped his class rank from 1 into the 20s.

Anybody with a 4.0+ at my school is a val. It's not hard because the vast majority of them take blow off classes. I'd say we have about 100/ year in a class of about 1600. After I got a B I dropped from 1 to about 130. It's like, huh? Plus, we have no weight for honors classes. Oh well. Nobody cares about class rank at my school lol.

Our school is generally just the one with the highest average, but we have very little weighting compared to a lot of other schools on here. After freshman year, it usually stays the same though.

We have no weighting and no +/-s.
Can you imagine who are vals are? xD

You have a class of 1600 :O that's pretty big.

Ours is only 524 and we only have 1 val.

We have a 100 pt. scale, so we always have someone

We have a class of like 600 with low weighting (AP/IB are out of 4.5) and we manage to get a Val.

We're at 10 "vals" (or we call them top "10" LMAO), out of around 900 kids.

Not bad, really, but I don't think we rank officially, but just put on the title of "top ten".

Rank isn't a big deal at my school IMO.

woof begs for treat

We don't have valedictorians at my school. There so many ties. My school does it the other way around. If there are 5 people who have the highest GPA, they are automatically said to be 5th in the class, as opposed to 5 valedictorians.

Then again, ranks don't appear on our transcripts.

^That stinks. At my school people jump around like crazy. I went from 38 at the end of last year to 5 this year.
